Two tax groups. One ticket.
Most POS systems in Little Rock are configured wrong.
Arkansas stacks a 10% state mixed drink tax and a 4% additional mixed drink tax on top of ordinary sales tax, and Little Rock adds 10% of its own on restaurant liquor.
The catch is the 2% hospitality tax. It applies to prepared food and not to mixed drinks. A POS that runs one tax group across the whole ticket either overcharges your guests or leaves you short at filing.
